I Spent The First 7 Years Of My Art Journey Completely Alone And Self-Taught…
I navigated the art world alone and hit a wall in my growth as an artist.
Being primarily self-taught, watching endless art videos, and attending the occasional art workshop only took me so far.
I was burned out by competitive attitudes and my own insecurities.
I longed for help, for a solution that would honor my desire and passion to create.
The turning point?
I saw the work of an artist who inspired me. David Langevin’s art was so stunning, luminous, and vibrant, it revealed obvious gaps in my knowledge and skill I had never noticed before.

So I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and attended a weekend event that changed EVERYTHING.

It came at a cost, both financially and emotionally.
It cost hundreds of dollars upfront, I had to drive hundreds of miles to attend, and pay for 3 nights accommodations, and spend significant time away from my kids.
It was the leap I almost didn’t take, but I’m so grateful I did. Because I left that weekend workshop with a mentor!
I just knew there had to be a better way for artists like me.
