Judy Heiser

Heiser paints Abstract from Realism to Expressionism with a contemporary pallet of mixed media utilizing natures lines. Bold gestures, taking risks with large brush work built up and sweeping strokes of vibrant colors applied – often with a pallet knife, she’s an action painter whose art is suffused with vitality. Heiser studied fine arts at Corcoran College of Art and Design and the Alexandria Art League, co-founded Les Artists Locale, Plein Air Painters of Alexandria, created and taught a recreational Art Rehabilitation program at Mount Vernon Hospital. Her works have won several awards and can be seen on exhibit in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
