I have been a high school art teacher for the last 25 years and having enjoyed that career, I decided that it was time to pursue my own artistic interests. For this series of paintings I drew inspiration from my garden last summer. The pictures in this series are inspired by sunny summer days, poppies and overgrown gardens.
