Ana Zanella, is an experienced mixed media artist who has dedicated much of her life to the pursuit of artistic expression. Primarily working with acrylic paints on canvas, Ana’s creative practice extends a diverse array of mediums, including inks, image transfers, drawing, and so many more. Her artwork focuses on abstraction and expressive portraiture. Ana is inspired by the beauty she sees in her daily life and travels, as well as the organic shapes and colours from nature. Ana strives to evoke contemplation and encourage viewers to explore their own creativity and broaden their horizon. She holds a firm belief in the transformative power of art for all.
Notes: These 3 pieces were created as an ode to Canada. After 25 years living in Canada as I greeted with the most amazing Northern Lights and got to experience their magic. It was the best way to add to my celebrations of a quarter of a century here.
