I am an emerging abstract artist based in Alberta, Canada. Working in acrylic, my inspirations are nature, colour, and the flow of energy around us all. I start my work with the feel of “alla prima” but then add layers of textures and colours in later stages to celebrate the image I see either based on plein air, photos, preliminary sketches, or purely from my imagination. My colour palette is vibrant and expressionistic, and my works express my joy in the freedom of creativity.
Notes: "If everything around you seems dark, look again, you may be the light" - Rumi. I am grateful for both the dark and light I have experienced on my journey, and I think I have learned equally from both. Everything is connected.
