Whether painting outside or in my light-filled studio perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, I paint colourful, optimistic and impressionistic landscapes, seascapes and still life. I adore texture and character in people, places and of course, paintings. My work is always evolving as I learn and experiment. Notes: I am in complete awe of the beauty that surrounds me...the sky, the land, the ocean. In my paintings, I try to capture the feeling, the light, the texture, perhaps even the temperature of what I see. All of it, is endlessly stimulating. I am grateful to be exposed to this beauty and for the opportunity to immerse myself in it through painting.
