EMERGING ARTIST

Mentored By: Julie deBoer, Nuala Clarke, Julie Snidle, Lori Meeboer

I’m a Canadian artist located in Frontenac County, Ontario. I am inspired by the emotional impact that colour and texture can have, such as the soothing greens and grays of moss on a rock or how the worn wood of an old barn holds stories of a life lived. My palette is typically tranquil, with glimpses of softly glowing light. Through my paintings I work to convey how nature harmonizes colour through the seasons, and the fleeting moments of light that create unique, yet familiarly beautiful impressions.

Notes: ** 50% of the proceeds from the sale of my painting “Lighting the Way” will be donated to For the Love of Ferals cat rescue in the memory of Lynn Cronk. The Cronk family barn is the inspiration for this painting and I’m grateful to be able to share such a wonderful place through my art.
