Elizabeth discovered her love of the arts in high school. She studied Art History and Education in university and has continued to paint throughout her career as a teacher and raising a family. When she is not in the classroom, Elizabeth creates out of her home studio in Ottawa. In addition to Mastrius, Elizabeth is a member of the local artist collectives and associations: Arteast, Art in the Neighbourhood and Arts Carleton Place.
