Niki Parry is a contemporary acrylic artist from Whitehorse, Yukon. With a love of bright colours and natural landscapes, Niki has developed a unique style of painting with fluid acrylic that combines these elements. Her artwork mostly represents natural scenes in an almost abstract sense, utilizing brush painted silhouettes to create an intense contrast and enhance the bright, vibrant nature of the dynamic colours. Niki’s artwork captures the beauty and joy of her creative process and embodies a sense of happiness that she enjoys sharing with others. Her inspiration comes from both her northern life in the Yukon and from her westcoast roots in Vancouver island.
Notes: I am grateful for those little sunset moments... As the sun goes down, everything seems to freeze for a few minutes and it gives you a chance to appreciate the beauty of where you are, how you are feeling, and where you are going.
