Nature has been a constant source of wonder and influence in my life. I often find myself barefoot, feeling the grounding connection to the Earth that fuels my artistic practice. As someone who is autistic, my art serves as a creative escape from the literal interpretations that can otherwise dominate my perception. Art is not just a practice for me but a way of life, a means to explore colors, create depth, and express emotions. Each piece I create is a reflection of my inner world and the beauty I find in the environment around me. I am a proud member of the Antioch Fine Arts Foundation, the Chicago Pastel Painters Society, and the Pastel Society of America.
Notes: The theme of this show is “gratitude,” and I expressed my gratitude for life and the blessings the universe has delivered to me with my theme, “to the heavens.” My works depict the peace, calmness, and light I feel when I meditate.
