Speech Language Pathologist turned artist, Pam Ferworn’s goal is to communicate through paint. Her inspiration comes from nature but she also loves finding the small wonders and light in things that are seen daily. And then recreating that in visual art. Pam is known for her loose and impressionistic watercolour, acrylic, casein and mixed media paintings which let the paint speak for itself. Originally from western Canada, Pam’s style is influenced both by her upbringing in the Canadian shield, prairies and rocky mountains and also her adopted home of Houston, Texas. The Texas scenery provides a different painting experience and colour palate with its gulf shores, piney woods, prairies and hill country. Both locations provide for beautiful references for landscape paintings.
