HOW IT WORKS

I felt that everyone had a good amount of time to discuss their concerns, etc. and that the discussion that followed was always enlightening. I am enjoying Mastrius.

Mastrius has afforded (literally! It’s affordable!) me the opportunity to truly accelerate my learning as an artist. Having access to direct instruction and feedback from a Master has probably cut at least a couple of years of fumbling around with YouTube tutorials and trying to discern “the good, the bad, and the pointless” off of the journey to my goals.

It really is a game changer! I absolutely love everything about Mastrius.
I thought about getting a mentor for about a year and a half before actually going through with it, and I’m so happy I joined.

I’m really enjoyed being part of Mastrius over the past few months. I’ve learned invaluable information about composition, self-critiques and technique from my master artist and the webinars.
It’s been a wonderful investment in my artistic career!

Sometimes taking a chance turns out to be one of the BEST things that happens to you. Mastrius was that “chance” for me; and I couldn’t be happier. Teaming up with a Master Artist and new art friends was the push I needed to move into the art world.I’ve learned SO MUCH, not only from my mentor but from my group. I’m expanding my art community, and getting encouragement, support, & feedback that’s really making a difference. I’ve not only joined my second group with Mastrius but one of their moderators, Heather Kinehan, just gave a presentation to artists on some tips and tricks on promoting art on social media. Love it!

I am half way through a university degree in fine arts, and although I am happy to be pursuing this, it’s Mastrius that nourishes my creative soul the most. I love everything about it, my mentorship group is wonderful of course, but I also love attending all of the other online events.

Mastrius is a perfect balance of accountability, community and fun.
It feels like family. Family that makes you a better you.

I benefited tremendously from the whole experience of being in this Aspiring Artist group; the mentorship expertise, the group interaction, the homework exercises. My painting has improved so much and I am beginning to find my style.

I am celebrating 2 years with Mastrius this past October and I cannot imagine my emerging art career without the mentoring of the masters. The knowledge of the group, including the Master Artist and navigator is incredibly powerful and has helped me build and sustain the confidence one needs to succeed!

I still have so much to go, but Mastrius has opened my mind and taught me things I had no idea about in regards to art and being an artist. Not only do the instructors care and do their best to adapt to an online environment, but the navigators and other member artists are supportive and willing to share their ideas and knowledge. Thank you Mastrius for accelerating my artistic journey and giving me a place of belonging!

I joined Levelling Up to get mentored by a Master, and found a community of artists to support me in my goals. The accountability has been great. I’ve surpassed my original goals and learned more than I expected. I like the flexibility to switch to different Masters and be able to tailor my learning.

I loved having a group to talk things out with, feedback from the master and the community we built in our group. The extra sessions offered from other masters were amazing too. Being an artist can be lonely, and often you don’t know what to do to grow. Mastrius solved both of those!

My mind is blown right now! I never would have guessed I would learn so much from just one session! Incredibly grateful to be a part of it!

I love how Mastrius takes care of the business side of things and I get to focus on the art, my favourite thing!

I painted in my twenties and thirties and then not for several decades. When I did resume painting in early retirement I wanted to learn from the artists I admired and I went to literally dozens of workshops. There you make notes and hope that they make sense when you get home. They are very costly, requiring hotel and travel costs for most. Had Mastrius been around in my early years it would have been a game changer, I would have become a professional artist. Having children and all the grownup responsibilities certainly meant workshops were out of the question in those in between decades.

Now that I am in Mastrius I am getting this mentorship, I am in my own home and I do not have to make notes, I can watch the replay as often as I need during the following month. Mastrius is and will be a game changer for young artists and also for us older artists it will keep us painting, encouraged and motivated. And I’ve become friends with people I would never have met otherwise.
