Often in each painting there are tiny changes that can be made to create a more masterful piece. Linda helps you see your blind spots, the lessons you aren’t quite grasping that you need to learn in order to take your paintings to a new level. Artists often get into a rut, doing the same thing over and over. Sometimes the paintings are good but not quite a hit because important elements are missing. Find out what the gaps in your knowledge are that keep you struggling so you can focus on developing those missing links.
To stand out in a crowd, win awards or create a body of work that you love and more people want to collect takes more than showing up at the easel regularly. It takes a plan, a system or method of working to form better habits and become consistent. There is always room for experimentation once you have a system that works. I help artists build a good foundation and better understand the creative process in order to pull out of themselves the message that wants to come from their heart helping their work to shine.

For me, painting is a pilgrimage – a journey into the soul and the mystery of creation. Through color, lines and brushstrokes I portray the essence of my subjects at their highest moments. Each color, line and shape is carefully curated to take the viewer on a joyous journey.
Whether I am painting on a sun-drenched beach in Florida or Maui, in the Hudson Valley, near Italian castles or on the French Riviera, my “plein air” paintings capture the spirit of nature at their most inspiring times. Starting with black and white and color studies I create a clear path to a larger version in pastel or oil that reveals a particular uplifting feeling determined by the subject matter.
With years and years of classical training under my belt my hand can easily follow my heart when creating a work of art that not only represents the scene but also allows the soul of the place to come forth.
Years of study with shamans has sharpened my understanding of energy, enhancing my ability to capture the invisible bringing life to each canvas.
Predominantly working with pastel and oil she creates colorful landscapes meant to lift the spirits. Her vibrant work has received national and international awards.
