Olaf paints primarily in oils and acrylic, with a touch of airbrush.
“I paint images that convey an emotional context that is accessible to the viewer. I sometimes like to use expressive and thick impastoed brush strokes, or soft blended strokes, rendering a sense of movement and texture, giving the painting a life of its own. My interpretation of color also sets the dynamic mood and feelings in my paintings. Finally, the tones of my paintings often range from the darkest to the lightest, in an effort to achieve maximum drama. I encourage you to remain teachable throughout your artistic journey – and I look forward to helping you reach your goals through my mentorship group”.

Olaf Schneider — (b.1964-) is a painter from the Toronto area, who is widely regarded to be one of the acknowledged leaders in mural painting in Canada. Olaf’s training has been thorough and exceptional. Having been schooled at the Ontario College of Art and mentored by some of the world’s leading billboard painters. ajor galleries in Toronto, throughout North America and Europe, have exhibited Olaf’s work.
Olaf is a member of the prestigious Oil Painters of America — Additionally, he has won numerous awards and honors. He has been heralded top honors in International Artist Magazine, Interior Design Show, Ducks Unlimited Canada, Mercedes Benz Canada to name a few.
