Join us for an interactive session where you'll get valuable teaching and insights from Master Artists to strengthen your composition and color skills. Learn how to quickly REFINE your work so that you can craft COMPELLING narratives, and convey EMOTION in your work.
Mastrius Master Artists Charlie Easton & Greg Newbold will teach you how to improve your use of COLOR and create balance and interest with strong COMPOSITIONS for powerful results in your artwork, that you can put into practice immediately.

Meet Greg Newbold

With over 30 years as a full-time artist and experience teaching university courses in figure drawing, illustration, plein air painting, and head painting, I’m excited to offer a mentorship that goes beyond just technique.
My goal is to help you solidify key skills and unlock rapid improvement in your art. In my mentorship, you’ll have access to a deep well of knowledge in areas like drawing, composition, shape design, color, materials, and more.
Together, we’ll build your confidence and take your work to the next level, empowering you to create with greater clarity and purpose.
Meet Charlie Easton
Oil Paint | Acrylic Paint
Charlie Easton comes from a family of British artists. He moved to Canada in 2006 and immediately fell in love with the same scenery that inspired many of the Group of Seven.
A prolific painter of landscapes and seascapes in both oils and acrylics, Charlie is represented by galleries across North America and Europe where he regularly has solo exhibitions of his work.
He is a Senior Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (SFCA) and has studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and at Emily Carr University.
His teaching is now in demand and in 2021 he will be on the faculty at the Plein Air Convention in Denver, Colorado.
Charlie has a studio in Vancouver, but his first love is painting on location in BC, Alberta, California and beyond. He has had residencies in Haida Gwaii, with The Haida Nation and Parks Canada, in Banff and in Whistler.
He is a proud brand ambassador for the Canadian outdoor brand MEC who help him get to the remotest places to paint, and keep him dry.
