Canadian Artist Angela Smith-Pollard uses acrylics to convey her Modernist style. Angela is full time in her art studio in the enchanting town of Roblin, Ontario, Canada. Angela’s colorful, rich use of veils and glazes in her backdrops contrast to the thicker, organic shapes that intertwine in movement, that upholds the narrative that nature is in delicate balance and fragile as true to our own humanity. The power of self healing through art has been Angela’s testimony of why she shares, empowers and uplifts others through her many works in series and ongoing projects.
Notes: My latest series Birds of a Feather portrays the "freedom flight" that one takes to sore their way to a healing heart, a better life, gain the strength, and courage to find their voice within.
