EMERGING ARTIST

Mentored By: Cordula Kageman

I find myself dispersed in solitary landscapes devoid of crowds in quiet contemplation or enjoying intimate moments where I observe others or wildlife interacting in sparse surroundings. I use many mixed collage elements, water medias, rice papers, organic material and mixed layers of light, pearl gels and color to abstract out the essence of life in dramatic moments. I literally sculpt my paintings out on cradled claybord birch with light layers while extracting the emotional vibrancy in the process. I provide a deeper mystical bond to the subject at higher vibration for viewers in a hope to reveal more stories and to connect on the subconscious.

Notes: I'm grateful for "Living to See Another Day"

My pieces in this show reflect the air that I breathe in "Sky Above Me". "Earth Below Me" reflects my gratitude in finding ground truth and stability with nature. "Fire Within Me" depicts my gratefulness at overcoming all obstacles in life where chaos rules unhinged in the outer and inner worlds but I always find resilience to keep moving forward for a better day and to never give up. I always find a way to my inner power and life force.
